Thank you very much to STEM Ambassador Hub for facilitating the access at this event and to DNV GL Oil & Gas for giving Marius all the support needed.
He told them about the achievements of previous and current generations and what they can do in future.
The pupils of St. Machar Academy were interested to learn about many topics including subsea mining, ocean farming and subsea hospitality. Their curiosity didn’t stop at seas and oceans, they showed a great deal of interest in the space elevator project, Sir Arthur C. Clarke’s idea for building an effective foundation for space works.
However, Marius noted that these young people are not aware of some of achievements of the maritime industry and this is something where we can do more to increase awareness.
